Kind: This cat is willing to extend a paw to any and all who need help. She is willing to find the best in others and is compassionate about everything she does. She is very mature for her age. When asking fellow cats if they need help she has a sweet way of asking by slowly walking close to them and then stop only to continue this until she's practically next to them.

Adventurous: Zuri isn't afraid to go out and explore the surroundings around her. She will sometimes wonder out of sight just to see what hides in the shadows, track down small mammals or just out of plain curiosity.

Protective: When she forms a special bond with any cats she will defend them in anyway she physically can even though she is small she can be deadly and won't hesitate to make a come back at any insults.

Argumentative: Zuri will always be the one to have the last word if any cat doubts her in what she says or does. She does not like to be called a liar or to be out done by anyone, what she says is the truth and will always be the truth. 

Outgoing: Zuri is the kind of cub who will go and greet any new cat she sees, but she will always look for their mood before hand so she doesn't anger anyone when meeting them as she likes to give a positive first impression.

Trustworthy: Zuri has an honest heart and will always tell the truth no matter what the situation may be. She will always keep secrets and will never tell another soul for as long as she lives as she wants other cats to know that they can always rely on her no matter what.

Distrusting: Due to the effects of the war Zuri is now more cautious when meeting new cats, after imprisonment she has been very blunt with others and will eventually like others over time or if told by her current friends and family that it is ok.

Background

Zuri was born in the wild and was mainly cared for by her mother as her father left after he mated with Zuri's mother. After 2 months of living in the wild with her mother they had both been taken interest by some humans who saw profit in selling the cub for future fights in the arena and the mother for her pelt. After a few nights the humans went in to claim their prizes unaware that Zuri and her mother were already on the move but with the humans not far behind. In the attempt of escaping from the humans Zuri got her paw stuck in a snare whilst her mother carried on running unaware of her cub she had left behind when she finally realised Zuri was missing the humans had already caught her and put her in a small wooden crate where she was then shipped to Massilia. The land transport part of the journey wasn't the smoothest of rides and due to how small Zuri's crate was it managed to slip through the support straps and cracked open when it hit the floor and the shippers were unaware of her escape. After shaking herself off Zuri sniffed the air around her and began to explore her new surroundings only to then be drawn in by the smells and curiosity of the Fire empire.

Cub-Hood

After being welcomed into Fire, Zuri wasted no time in making many new friends and strong bonds. Her first friend was Claire who she met in the cub dens on a cold snowy morning, after playing with each other the pair became friend have become inseparable ever since. During her cub-hood she has made many friends and loves to do all she can to make them smile as she cannot stand to see others upset. Out of all the cats in the empire she is especially close to Suferue, the young cub has very vague memories of her birth mother but sees the Fire cat as some sort of role model to look up to and loves her dearly.

Months pasted from when she was excepted into Fire empire and a few more cubs began to be brought in, one of them being a small ocelot mix called Xephos, who eventually became her step brother.

Apprentice

Zuri was very excited to find out that she was now an apprentice and was very eager to learn all of her survival technics in order to help her empire and survive, she lived each day in the moment and would spend a lot of time with her family and close friends. She meet her mentor Ezykiel, a tabby tiger that was at least twice the size of her but was kind and gentle which she liked to see in new friends.

She watched her friends train from time to time, trying to complete their tasks in order to become fully fledged Gladiator. She didn't feel like she needed to rush into this after all she was still young, but soon all of her training was prepared for one event that would make history and change the lives of so many.

Before War

When she heard about Andromeda's decision for war against the Hunters, Zuri wasn't sure what this all meant and was not prepared what was going to happen. Her caretaker, Suferue would leave for most of the day to train with Andro and her group of newly made assassins, this made Zuri worry for her safety for when the war came fearing that she may never return. As war day came Andro and her assassins set out towards the city whilst Zuri watched her mother walk off in the distance, saddened she cried out of fear for her family and friends.

Whilst believing their empire was not threatened, a small group of Hunters made their way into Fire's camp, hiding away in the bushes before striking. Zuri felt that something was wrong and went to investigate which resulted in her meeting Orion a lion that she fought in order to protect Boreas, defenceless she was knocked unconscious and was carried back to the city when she was held captive.

After War
Zuri awoke in agony as she was covered in cuts and suffered slight concussion from the knock out, realising that she had been captured Zuri refused to let any humans or Hunters near her cage as she wanted nothing to do with them.
Not long after she encountered a cat that she thought was dead or far away, her birth mother Zira. Thinking that she was going to help her Zira soon Zuri realised that her own mother didn't even care for her, there was no emotion in her facial expression as she spoke cruel and heart breaking words to her telling her she was nothing but scum and worthless. She then left her as Zuri curled up in her cage and cried for the remaining hours of the night.

A few weeks had past and she was approached by a human and a Hunter who escorted her out to the coliseum where a battle was being prepared for her, across in front her mother stood there smiling with crookedly at her as she approached. She was asked once more about her offer which she again declined which resulted in Zira lunging at her only daughter, the battle was long and Zuri was constantly being overwhelmed by her strength. During mid attack Zuri threw herself at her mother and she watched her lifeless body hit the floor and she knew it had gone too far, she was thrown back into the cells to await payment of someone in another city who wanted her.

Zuri's return & Chimera
Zuri had been bought by someone and was having her carted to her new home in the next city escorted by Jasper and a few other cats, thinking that she would never see her family again Zuri began to loose hope. Not long after they were out of sight of the city they left the cart was ambushed by a group of cats all wearing masks, Zuri couldn't see what was happening until her crate door was ripped open by a tall but slim feline dressed all in black, there mask coloured in red and white. Although she was scared the serval didn't waste a second to run off with the group, she followed their leader for quite a while before they disappeared leaving no trace of themselves behind. Now alone she searched through the remains of FE camp but it wasn't long before she picked up a familiar scent. She crept through the overgrowth to see a small gang of cats together all happy but yet they didn't look complete, calling out to them she noticed it was Suferue and her family. Tears flooded their eyes as both mother and daughter ran to each other and embraced themselves in relief and joy, their family was whole again.

A few months after returning Zuri heard the news that Santino was looking for an apprentice to train and one night after waking up from a nightmare, Zuri went to visit him. After talking for a while she asked if she could be is apprentice and a few nights later a decision was made and she was chosen to train with him alongside Mel, Ezykiel's daughter. She has managed to learn a lot so far in helping cats with medicine and other remedies, she hopes to do her empire proud. Suferue adopted another cub Nusakan when she went out patrolling one day, she even returned home with her sister who she thought she lost years ago.
